Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) is looking for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator assists with and facilitates various Human Resources functions for the organization. Primary responsibilities of this role include providing professional Human Resources support for the department including recruitment initiatives by collaborating with the Recruitment team and administering and coordinating the recruitment process.

In addition, this role is responsible for facilitating the new hire process including generating offer letters, conducting background and reference checks, and coordinating schedules. This role will serve as the primary HRIS coordinator ensuring all employee status changes are entered timely and accurately, utilizing reporting mechanisms to allow real-time follow up and tracking of data and trends. May work closely with various members of other support departments as well as members of Human Resources. Will assist with electronic record-keeping and file maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications for this position are as follows:


  • Associate degree in business, communication, administration or related field, or advanced certification related to the role required. Some post-secondary education may be considered with extensive related experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant HR or Administrative experience in a professional, office setting is required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook email and calendar functions, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Experience with HRIS such as Paycor, ADP or similar, as well as applicant tracking systems as well as familiarity with federal employment laws required.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and accommodating in all situations is required.
  • Demonstrable customer service skills, pleasant demeanor, and professional image are required.


  • Experience working with executive management teams as well as the public is strongly desired.
